Country Strong, swoon!

So I just got back from seeing "Country Strong." It was an amazing movie. I think that if you like country music, and the struggle of mental illness (not that you can really like mental illness, but what makes people tick, and why they do what they do) you would love this movie.

The swoon in my title goes to Tim McGraw for sure. As in my previous post, he is so cute, and a "classic" country man. And now the new country boy is Garrett Hedlund. His voice is so smooth and I just love the way it sounds!

It was a little strange to sit in the theater by myself but was very nice to be in the dark and quiet. Well, as quiet as you can be in a theater, why is there always the group of people that continue to talk throughout the movie? For $8.25, I want to sit in the dark for two hours and only hear the movie! Anyhoo, so I am checking off #9! Two down, eight more to go! Will I do it? I hope so, because it will mean so much to me to finish this.

On to checking off more items!!!

Movie date with myself!

Hi everyone,
So the weight thing is getting under control, the book is still not all the way read (when do I have time to read I tell ya?!), picked my tattoo just have to get it on me, and now...Movie Time!
Today, I am going to watch "Country Strong." It looks like a little piece of fluff with a hot man named Tim McGraw! I just love him. I saw him in concert two days in a row a couple of years ago. And I think that Miss Gwen has a wonderful voice for not being a professional singer. Will let you know how the movie went. I might even get some sour worms (I know it's not very dietetic but, hey it's for a movie!)

All Aboard the Choo Choo Train!

So I did number four!

"Get on a train and go anywhere" We went on the Train of Lights. It took us from Sunol through Niles Canyon to Niles and back again. It was completely decorated for Christmas. Lights everywhere.

And it was even decorated inside too. Volunteers punched our ticket, sold hot chocolate, and even let Olivia hold a lattern and say "all aboard."

It was very beautiful and was everything an old train should be. I'm glad that we did this one, because it was not like the wine train or BART. It was very authentic and so very fun!!

And look at all those lights! It was pretty amazing, and one I think we will do as a winter tradition!!! One down nine to go. Working on the movie thing now!!
